180 East in Fresno County

Bear Mountain is the large mountain to the extreme left.

The High Sierras are visible because this is taken past the limit of summer time smog. This is just east of Highway 63 in August 1995.

180 has a lot of hard, steep climbs. One time I saw a car moving backwards in the eastbound lanes because it stalled.
This is probably west of the the National Forest boundary.
