130 West in Santa Clara County (Mount Hamilton Road) in 2011

These are all from Eric Wardell from 3/29/2011. I've absolutely never been able to travel this area this time of year.
This is the view from the top. Update: This area burned in August 2020.

This is looking down on the south end of Santa Clara county and on part of the observatory.

This is the mile sign at the observatory. It is a long way to Patterson from here, but the road seems easier to drive than 130 from San José to Mt. Hamilton.

There are no services until East San José from here headed westbound.
