130 East  (Mount Hamilton Road) in California

The Santa Cruz Mountains above Saratoga, Cupertino, and Palo Alto are on the horizon.
The valley is blocked by smog. Smog was much worse in the Bay Area during the 1980s than now.

This is looking towards San Mateo and the San Francisco Bay.
If only I had brought infrared film when I took this trip! By the way I took a photography class during this time. It actually did not help with this kind of photography much.
